Adult bed bugs are much flatter than nymphs and look like an apple seed. Nymphs are yellow-white in color when they are young but turn reddish-brown when they are adults. They mostly feed off of human blood during bedtime, which can cause red bumps on your skin. Some bed bugs need to shed at least five times in order to reach the maturity stage. Bed Bug Prevention
Some of the best ways to prevent bed bugs is to vacuum regularly and do not store anything under your bed. Make sure you don’t pile up your clothes in your room and wash your clothes after coming home from vacation. Wash your bed sheets at least once a week and keep all your belongings off of the floor. If you do this regularly, chances are that you won’t see any signs of bed bugs around the house. It is crucial to live in a sanitary environment to help prevent bed bugs.
